Ekaterina was born in Russia surrounded by the countries love of Ballet. She was accepted into Russia ’s prestigious Bolshoi Ballet Academy at the age of 9.
Upon successful completion within the academy she has travelled the world working with a variety of renowned Russian Ballet companies, including the Imperial Russian Ballet, under the direction of Maya Plisetskaya and artistic director Gediminas Taranda.
She has appeared as a soloist in all the classical ballets such as Swan lake, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Don Quixote and many more. She has had the privilege to work with some of the worlds finest ballet stars including, Julie Kent, Svetlana Zakharova, and Vladimir Malakhov to name a few.
While instruction and mentoring is a natural part of a ballerinas evolving career, it became clear that Ekaterina also had a love of teaching her passion to others. She returned to the Bolshoi Ballet Academy to complete her Masters degree in Teaching and Choreography.
